The MD Program
Lincoln American University offers a Pre Med Program for highly qualified and enthusiastic high school graduates. This program is also designed for other prospective students who are willing to pursue higher education for a change in career that combines undergraduate level of Pre-Medical studies and the graduate level Medical Education.
The curriculum of Pre Med Program is designed with a five year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program which starts at undergraduate level of studies in the introductory building Pre-Medical courses, taken over duration of four semesters. After successfully completing this course with satisfactory marks and performance, the student is advanced into the regular Medical Program at the Basic Medical Sciences level.
NOTE: Indian Citizens studying medicine at Lincoln American University are required to complete a duration of five Years (5 years).
The Premedical Program is intended for the students with the strong base and academic background. The course is designed to prepare the students to handle the thorough course of study they will experience in the MD Program.
This three-semester program can be entered at each year depending upon academic qualifications.
It offers undergraduate sciences and laboratories, as well as post-high school level of Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, English and Calculus. These courses contribute to the overall goals of a pre-professional education and much of the final
semester of the premedical program.
Lincoln American University offers the Basic Science Program which follows the curriculum designed as per the US standards. The curriculum of the Basic Science Program emphasizes on problem-based learning and clinical correlations. During this program, the students are provided with a thorough knowledge of the basic biomedical sciences, physical exam skills, and problem solving techniques which begins in the first
semester with Physical Diagnosis.
At LAU, the faculty members of the Basic Science Program are graduates and post graduates from reputed universities of the United States. LAU ensures to maintain a low student to faculty ratio to provide the best learning and practical exposure.
The Basic Medical Science curriculum of Lincoln American University is designed to offer the following:
1. An in-depth knowledge of the basic medical sciences.
2. A range of problems encountered by doctors and the range of solutions that have been developed for their recognition, investigation, prevention and treatment.
3. The principles of disease, therapy, ethical and legal issues relevant to the practice medicine.

psychologists who want to pursue their career for the promotion of well-being of people around the world. The program promotes the clinical practice as an applied science and seeks to contribute to the basis of evidence that guides principled and efficient
psychological services.
Clinical Sciences Curriculum at Lincoln American University is designed to offer the following:
1. Provides complete opportunity to the students to have hands on experience on the clinical services.
2. Provides the opportunity to the students to record a history, perform a physical examination and interpret the findings.
3. Teach the students to perform autonomously correlating the clinical relevance to the basic sciences.
